The Opportunity Class (OC) Placement Test is a competitive exam for Year 4 students seeking placement in opportunity classes for Years 5 and 6. It assesses English, mathematics, and thinking skills to identify students who would benefit from advanced learning in NSW public schools.
The test includes multiple-choice questions across thinking skills, mathematical reasoning, and reading comprehension. It is typically held in July each year, with results used for placement the following year.
The Selective Schools Test is a competitive examination for Year 6 students seeking entry into selective high schools for Years 7–12. It evaluates four key areas: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills, and Writing.
The test is typically held in March each year. Students compete for limited places, making thorough preparation essential. Unlike the OC test (for Year 4), the Selective test is more advanced, reflecting the higher academic standards of selective high schools.

Because quiz content is digital and access is granted immediately upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds for change of mind once you have accessed the content.

We recommend starting quizzes early in your access period to get the most out of your purchase.
Each AcePath account is intended for one student. Sharing an account across multiple children will mix up progress tracking and quiz results, making it difficult to monitor each child's individual improvement. We recommend creating a separate account for each child.

Each quiz pack includes 5 complete test sets across Reading, Maths, and Thinking Skills — 15 individual quizzes in total. You have 180 days from purchase to complete them.
Tests are regularly updated to reflect current exam formats and difficulty levels.

After 180 days from purchase, you will no longer be able to start new quizzes. After 180 days from completing a quiz, the detailed review feature will expire for that quiz.
However, your scores and dashboard history are permanently retained — you can always see how your child performed even after access ends.

Yes, a stable internet connection is required to take quizzes. AcePath is a fully online platform — quizzes are timed and your answers are submitted in real time. We recommend using a reliable Wi-Fi connection rather than mobile data to avoid interruptions during a timed session.
Our referral program rewards you for sharing AcePath with friends. When someone signs up and makes their first purchase using your referral code, they receive $20 off and you earn $20 in credit that you can use toward your next purchase.
After you verify your email and log in, your unique referral code is displayed on your Dashboard in the "Refer a Friend" card. You'll also find a shareable link you can copy and send to friends. Your referral code is also included in your welcome email.
When your friend enters your referral code at checkout, they receive a $20 discount on their purchase. The discount is applied once per buyer — a friend can only use a referral code on their very first purchase.
Note: Referral codes and discount codes cannot be combined. Only one type of code can be applied per transaction.
Once your referred friend completes their purchase, you automatically receive $20 in credit. Your credit balance is shown on your Dashboard.
At checkout, you can choose to apply your available credit to reduce your total. There is no limit to how many friends you can refer — each successful referral earns you more credit!
No. Only one code can be applied per checkout — either a referral code or a discount code, not both. However, you can apply your referral credit balance on top of a referral code discount, since the credit is separate from the code.
